Blockmounting is a process whereby a poster is mounted to a 9mm MDF board.
The edges are painted black to clean them up, a cord is then attached on the back, enabling the poster to be hung easily.
Blockmounting is a low cost alternative to framing, and is suitable for posters, cheap art or for tight budgets.
We don’t recommend blockmounting original artwork or anything of value as MDF is not an archival product, and once its stuck down, it cannot be unstuck .
